Where is textbooks.com located

I know for a fact it wasn't because I never even opened the book to use and bought it brand new. I wish I would've taken a picture so I had proof.

Sure enough the code is scratched off now and it will probably be useless. If you are buying a book from them that is in stock, you should be okay. First of all, you will have to deal with the seller directly on any issues and in our case, the Seller advertised the book was coming from a neighboring state - Avenel, New Jersey. Since we needed the book in Philadelphia, we expected the book to arrive in a week. Not sure how they get away with it, but per Textbvooks. The shipping is like 21 business days.

That's too long, class will be over. Just Beware of the Textbook. Most notably, the website is not limited solely to textbook rentals. I save money and time, So the textbook. I was desperate for a book for my daughter for a college class. Customer service was perfect and the book was in mint condition. Thank you thank you. Ordered a book that was in stock on Thursday from textbooks. They waited until Monday to cancel the order, presumably because it was out of stock. There was no explanation.

One star for the quick refund, I guess? I have ordered my books used with my knowledge that they would in fact be used. I expected signs of wear, and that's exactly what I have received. One of the books had tape to help hold it together, but I didn't mind as long as it was falling apart. The books were extremely reasonable, and I'm happy with their service. I saved money and enjoyed. The offer was better than any other website I received quotes from so, as a poor college kid, I jumped on the offer.

I followed their instructions and securely packaged my book with bubble wrap and it was on its way. Days later I checked my email looking for a confirmation that they received the book and was informed they received my book and sent my preferred method of payment check to me.

So I waited for the check, and and about 2 weeks later, I emailed them asking for verification that they sent the check but no response. Well I waited, and waited, and waited Again, I emailed them emphasizing my concern but didn't get a response.

I wish I would have been more suspicious from the start but unfortunately I learned the hard way. This company stole my book and rented or sold it to someone else.

If this "business" offers you a low price for rental or purchase, it's because they steal the books from other unfortunate victims. This is a disgrace to textbook services and I hope I can prevent them from scamming a few more college students.

I highly recommend that you do NOT do business with them and go with one of the others, like chegg or amazon. I ordered a book weeks ago from their marketplace.

When the book never arrived, I attempted to contact the seller directly, but the website nor the confirmation email provided me any way to contact them. When I spoke with a representative they assured me that they would send the contact details, which they did.

They also told me that if I do not receive my book within a a few more business days, then they would refund me. I contacted them AGAIN today to see if they could give me a phone number for the seller so I could contact them directly, they let me know, via email, that they had refunded me WEEKS ago and never bothered to contact me to tell me this or that my book was not coming due to it being sold on another website. BUT, the same book, for the same price, is still listed on their marketplace.

I would have ordered the book weeks ago from another site if I had known this. I'm glad for my refund, and the representatives were very nice, but they do not communicate with their buyers and I will not likely use them again. They said I'd have it within 24 hours, and I got it in less than an hour.

Just follow that rule, and you should be fine. The expiration of the ebook is not shown at all on the website that I could find and the expiration info is not shown prominently on the website when you are renting the book. I called to see if they could give me access to do one download of it since I was not aware of the expiration period so I could us the book on my final exam in two days and the refused.

I would highly not recommend renting from them! I bought a book from textbook. I think they're great! Their website clearly says that they accept textbooks with exposed code though not for a full credit. And they obviously sell the used textbooks with the exposed codes again written on their website. However, when I sent my expensive textbook to them them marked it "damaged" and said that the reason is because the code was exposed.

Basically they stole the book. Never ever repeat my mistake and try to sell your textbooks through this scam company. They are selling counterfeit books on their site and when you ask for a refund you get no response whatsoever. Stay away from this company as it is a clear scam on college students wanting to save money on textbooks.

I ordered on a Weds. They arrived via fedex on Fri. Both books are brand new, I opened both books. And if you register with ebates. Once you purchase the ebates tracking ticket will give you cash back in addition to saving money.

I have ordered alot through them and they do not place holds on your account in addition to charging the amount to your account. Cheap textbooks - we have them. This helps if you find potential buyers that go to your school or are taking classes at another college close by that require the same materials.
