How is eureka connected to warehouse 13
There's occasional hints of weird science: the "teslas" and some of HG Wells' stuff, but the artifacts are really and explicitly stuff that's not explainable by science. If all of those are happening in the same universe, then the secret government folks are stupid for not having the Eureka folks investigate the Alphas and, for that matter, develop more reliable anti-artifact technologies. But mostly it just bugs me because their concepts and even flavors are quite different, especially Alphas.
Well, ya know, one show advertises the other, so hopefully they can attract cross genre audiences and what not. Edit: Honestly, with the cancellation of "Eureka" Scyfy has lost my business for all time, so I couldn't care less. Look, all TV shows are in the head of that kid in St Elsewhere, anyway. Falke From the Deep! I don't see the problem with the crossovers. Sure, the tone of Eureka and Warehouse 13 is far sillier than Alphas, but that doesn't mean they can't co-exist.
Lindsay Wagner's character worked just fine in Alphas because even though her character is a part of Warehouse, she isn't really a part of the "fun". If Fargo were to appear in Alphas, that probably wouldn't work unless Gary and Bill come back from a Bogus Journey and fuck his shit up. Also, what SteveD said. We did on the set, too. And our chemistry played so well in life that I think our respective showrunners and the good people over at Syfy realized what a commodity it can be to blend these shows.
So here we are, Claudia and Fargo at the centre of this awesome crossover event. Both Claudia and Fargo have become key characters on each show, and gained popularity with the fans. Could each of you tell us about the growth of your characters?
I was really a tertiary character in Eureka. Claudia was an outsider who sort of fought her way in and had to figure out where she fit within this group, but has become such an integral part of the family. And that really mirrors my evolution as an actress, trying to belong to something, finding her way onto this show and developing a second family with this amazing cast and crew.
Can you share some details on this crossover, particularly why Fargo is visiting the Warehouse, and what brings Claudia to Eureka? AS: So, Fargo comes to the Warehouse to update our computer system. We — Claudia and Fargo — connect in the Warehouse and put our heads together to sort of save the day. Neil hits it out of the park. And I predict that this episode is going to be a fan favourite. Well, that one is obvious; Warehouse Lightsabers, you guys? I thought we were the ones doing the Star Wars thing right now.
Okay, I admit it: I loved the lightsabers. Eureka is plenty geeky — especially with their choice of guest-stars, which almost always brings a smile to my face — but W13 has taken to really reveling in its geek this season, and I kind of love that about the show. My only real complaint about the lightsabers is that, come on: You know that Pete would be really upset when he heard about that later. Too picky? This triggers a seemingly sentient computer virus that sends the Warehouse into lockdown and traps the team inside.
Rene Auberjonois guest stars in the episode.
